5.30 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. Workshop (two groups). Discovering the Catalan language and culture
8.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. Dinner on Campus
9.30 p.m. Evening get-together. Workshop about ball de bot (typical folk dance of Majorca)

Tuesday, September 6th
"Route of Wines"

7.30 a.m. – 8.30 a.m. Tai chi
9.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m. Breakfast
10.30 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. Monographic session about native grape variety called Malmsey by the professor of the UIB, Dr Hipólito Medrano: Rescuing an old Majorcan Malmsey "Malvasía de Banyalbufar"
12.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. Workshop (English group). Flavours and Aromas: the influence of variety and processing systems in the aromas and flavours of wine
1.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m. Workshop (Spanish group). Flavours and Aromas: the influence of variety and processing systems in the aromas and flavours of wine
1.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. Lunch on campus
3.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Time off with free access to sports facilities-
7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. Route:
We will visit the farm house and traditional cellar of Son Vives located in Banyalbufar in the Tramuntana Mountain.
There we will enjoy with their wines taste while we contemplate the sunset.
9.30 p.m. – 10.30 p.m. Dinner on Campus

Wednesday, September 7th
"Oil’s Route"

7.00 a.m. – 8.00 a.m. Tai chi
8.00 a.m. – 9.00 a.m. Breakfast
09.15 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Route:

By bus we will drive to Fornalutx. On the way we will see the oldest olive groves of the island. Once there, we will visit the oil Mill of Can Xoroi, which was recently restored by the Consell de Mallorca
Free time to visit the town. Picnic lunch in the Mountain shelter of Son Amer (Escorca)
4.30 p.m. After lunch we will drive to Inca There, we will visit a modern and industrial olive Oil Mill. They will show and explain us how nowadays Majorcan Olive Oil is produced. At the end we will enjoy with their olive oils taste. (Products available for sale) Son Catiu
6.30 p.m – 8.00 p.m. Free time with access to sport facilities
8.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. Dinner on campus
9.30 p.m. Evening get-together

Thursday, September 8th
"Maridages and tasting"

7.00 a.m. – 7.45 a.m. Taichi session
7.30 a.m. – 8.45 a.m. Breakfast
9.00 a.m.– 2.00p.m. Route:
We will visit a free-range farm of Black pigs in Manacor named Sa Cova Nova, in order to see an extensive production system.
Then we will go to Felanitx to visit Can Manxa, a factory where the sobrassada and another typical products are made.
Tasting of sobrassada (traditional Majorcan sausage meat product)
2.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. Lunch on campus.
Optionally, we will offer to interested students the possibility of tasting "Porcella "(roasted pork).
4.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. Time off with free access to sports facilities
6.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m. Workshop which taught us how to made ensaimadas, given by the President of the Consejo Regulador, Mr. Francisco Garí
8.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. Dinner on Campus
9.30 p.m. Evening get-together

Friday, September 9th

7.30 a.m. – 8.30 a.m. Tai chi
8.30 a.m. – 9.45 a.m. Breakfast
10.15 a.m. – 1.30 p.m. Guided visit to the Olivar Market where we will find typical Majorcan products.
2.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. Picnic Lunch
3.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m. Free time in Palma
8.30 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. Closing session of the Fourth International Summer Senior University. Graduation ceremony with presentation of Diplomas and announcement of the Gymkhana’s winners.
9.00 p.m. Farewell dinner on Son Lledó’s gardens (Campus)

Saturday, September 10th

8.00 a.m. – 9.00 a.m. Breakfast
10.00 a.m. Participants’ departure
